Headquatered in London, Virtus IT started off as the EMEA & APAC distributor for Virtus, a Brazillian company that specialises in IT asset management, IT security, software development, and infrastructure management. Their business is centered around their Automatos product, the name by which Virtus is now known in Brazil.
Virtus (Automatos), the second largest software company in Brazil with a turnover in excess of $80m and over 500 employees with development centres in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba and RibeirãoPreto, presents highly credible service delivery capacity. Automatos is represented through 11 offices worldwide and has over 1000 major corporate customers across the world.
In 2009 Virtus IT went into partnership with Clearway Partners in the US to develop the CEP, creating a jointly held company called Clearway NMS. In 2011 Virtus IT acquired 100% of Clearway NMS, including all of the IP associated with the CEP platform, the development centre in Hyderabad, India, and the team in Boston, US.
Virtus IT has now evolved into a separate entity, maintaining its relationship with Automatos as a Spoke provider, but building on the base of our own CEP product - the Complex Event Processor which was originally designed to meet the requirements of a major Tier 1 Telco client of Virtus IT.
Our catalogue of Spokes (Strategic partners that supply products that feed specialist information into our CEP as part of an integrated customer solution) is ever growing and in addition to Automatos, includes companies like IPTEGO, Telchemy, Codima and Airwatch.
