The CIAB is the largest convention for Automotive Banking in Brazil and one of the largest in Latin America. With over 16,000 visitors per year,  it's a products and services showcase for the financial market.

Virtus became a part of CIAB in partnership with Intel ® in June 2008. At the event, the company presented its comprehensive portfolio with complete solutions for the banking sector which included - remote ATM management, monitoring software and hardware and other services.

Virtus and Intel were seen presenting the automation integrated with Intel vPro processor technology and new resources that are available to the market for the management of IT equipment in a self-service environment.

"Our participation in CIAB resulted in greater recognition of Virtus by a key market, the financial sector" said Fernando Nardi, commercial manager of Virtus. "Furthermore, our presence at the event achieved an understanding by clients who were assisted by units of Virtus,  to better understand the structure of the company."

Several banks such as Caixa Econômica, Unibanco and BBM were interested by the potential opportunities for management of their IT equipment with the new features of Virtus products. Virtus impressed the visitors by its solutions in the areas of e-business and security products.

• Management ATMs: associated with vPro ™ processing technology from Intel ®, the set of integrated tools that enhance and maximize the efficiency in the management of the park equipment for self-care. It also includes features such as warning of violation, filter network and the use of non-volatile memory;
• Inventory of Remote ATM: offers reduction in response time for obtaining information on the inventory of peripherals installed in ATMs, and allow access to data even when the machine turned off;
• Distribution and update of software packages: drive features includes remote shutdown and extend the possibilities for distribution and updating of software packages and other solutions;
• Remote access to equipment: extends the range of services performed by the teams to support and minimize the periods of unavailability by the boot functionality with access to images reisdentes on other machines attached to the concept of Lan. The user can capture the console of the equipment even during the boot of the system.
