The Festival is a major initiative to make Petrópolis a center of technology and innovation.

With an innovative proposal to stimulate technological change, FTP Brazilian intelligence gathered to dicuss new ideas to assist the modernization and popularization of technology.

"The FTP is an event unique in Brazil because it joins people interested in various forms of technology to speak freely about what may come around. No booth where you end up talking to manufacturers or asking questions like how many megs of memory is on your computer, nothing. The event is a place where people who dream of making IT innovative encourages free thinking, "said André Fonseca, president of Virtus.

During the festival various topics such as robotics, creative innovation, bioarte and mobile diversidade were presented, along with roundtable discussions with different themes every day.

Virtus participated on 6th August 2008 with a debate on successful stories of Brazilian entrepreneurs in the presence of André Fonseca.
