Telchemy SQmediator

Telchemy's SQmediator, when used with Telchemy’s VQmon/EP (or equivalent) in IP phones or gateways, allows service providers to collect performance information in real time from residential, hosted PBX, or large enterprise customer premises equipment. In enterprise applications, SQmediator provides network managers with real-time visibility of all the IP phone users in their network, including teleworkers.

SQmediator is a powerful performance monitoring tool designed to play the central role in today’s distributed performance management architecture. Distributed software agents (such as VQmon/EP), integrated directly into VoIP endpoint equipment such as IP phones and gateways, non-intrusively monitor the quality of every call at each user handset or other key network locations. Real-time QoS/QoE information is reported to SQmediator at the end of each call or periodically during calls.

SQmediator validates the incoming reports to ensure the accuracy of the data, creates a quality record for each call using either EmbeddedSQL or ODBC, and populates the record with call quality metrics. If multiple reports are received for the same call—for example, separate reports from each endpoint or multiple interval reports—SQmediator

By clicking any of the Dashboard’s color-coded charts, you can quickly “drill down” onto detailed report data filtered the way you want it. SQmediator also provides a set of preconfigured and user-configurable reports, creating a range of different options for viewing customized call quality information.
