Test and Survey - CEP Assess
CEP Assess is an integral part of the CEP Hub and is a test harness application that is used to support the testing of new networks / devices / services, pre and post launch.
The full suite of CEP functionality can be used to test new networks, devices and services. User definable correlation rules allow desired relationships between different sources of data to be monitored. User definable data rules can be applied to any combination of data items to report on any measurable condition or set of conditions.
However, in addition to the functionality that would be used in a live environment, our CEP Assess functionality inserts a TEST ID in the data coming into CEP from all sources during a test.
The TEST ID is used to correlate data from all sources relating to a particular test (e.g. a video call).
CEP Assess also allows people engaged in testing to input answers to a subjective online questionnaire relating to their perception of the quality of what is being tested (or indeed any other information that a given test strategy may wish to capture through manual data entry).
The questionnaire can be filled out at the time the test is run. Alternatively unanswered questions will be available on the system for the test operators to fill in at a later time.
CEP Assess can also bring in external data from external data sources to supplement test data - for example the weather at the time and location of a test or the proximity of a radio mast.
CEP Assess presents back all the data relating to a given series of tests, showing for each test (e.g. a video call) all the information gathered automatically from all relevant data sources and supplemented by the answers provided to the subjective questionnaire for that test.
Our CEP Insight capability then allows test data to undergo thorough analysis to identify trends and patterns that are relevant to the nature of the testing being carried out.
